Seawater Reverse Osmosis Systems (SWRO)
Our seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) systems bring seawater with salinity up to 35,000 ppm into line with WHO drinking water standards. A high-pressure pump works together with an energy recovery device (ERD) to bring electricity consumption down to 3–4 kWh per m³, cutting the largest single item in operating cost. The systems are designed for hotels, resorts, marinas, vessels, island settlements and coastal facilities. A 316L stainless steel high-pressure line, FRP membrane vessels and PLC-based automation come as standard. An automatic flush cycle and antiscalant dosing slow membrane fouling, extending membrane life and widening the maintenance interval. Every project begins with a seawater analysis. Pre-treatment and membrane configuration are set according to measured salinity, SDI, turbidity and temperature, so capacity is calculated from data rather than assumption.

How It Works
Treatment Stages
Coarse Filtration
Sand, algae and suspended solids are removed from the seawater.
Multimedia Filter
Turbidity and SDI are brought down to the level the membrane will accept.
Carbon and Cartridge Filter
Chlorine, organics and particles above 5 microns are removed.
Antiscalant Dosing
Scale and salt precipitation on the membrane surface is prevented.
High Pressure and Membrane
Salts, heavy metals and bacteria are separated at 55–70 bar.
Energy Recovery
Pressure in the concentrate line is recovered, lowering energy use.
Remineralisation
pH and hardness are balanced to drinking water standard.
